Furniture exported
PA Wellington. New Zealand exported more than SBM worth of furniture in 1976-77, the Minister of Overseas Trade (Mr Taiboys) has told Parliament. More than S7M of that went to Australia. Mr Taiboys, who was replying to a question from Mr D. M. J. Jones (Nat., Waitemata), said furniture worth more than S4M had been exported in the second half of last year, and there was a growing trade in furniture sales overseas. In the year ended June 30 last 'year, furniture worth SI.6M had been imported.
