Crozier off to Sydney
1 PA Wellington Stratford jockey Brett Crozier is to leave New Zealand within a fortnight to take up a contract at Warwick Farm, Sydney. Crozier, aged 20, has a contract which guarantees him race rides with P. Roache, who is preparing a large team of mainly young horses for a leading New South Wales studmaster. Crozier joins Roache after riding 30 winners, most of which were gained during his apprenticeship with A. Baker. i His record would have Ibeen much better had he not missed nearly six months’ ! riding last season becaue of : serious leg injuries.
