U.S. official for talks
A senior official and trade analyst in the Foreign Agricultural Service of the United States Department of Agriculture, Mr Philip Mackie, will visit New Zealand to discuss the American agricultural economy and trade policies. Mr Mackie is director of the fats and oils division of the Foreign Agricultural Service. He will have talks with New Zealand farmers and farm organisations, marketing boards and Government officials, with a view to improving the understanding of the United States agriculture policies.
