Standards for L.P.G. cartage
PA Wellington Standards for the labelling and transport of hazardous substances, including liquid petroleum gas, will be set by the Standards Association. Two working groups I have been set up by the association — one on containment of substances, the other on labelling. The containment committee met last week. i Both working groups have among their terms of I reference to: 1. Examine other national and international standards and confirm design and specifications and test procedures for all types of containers used in any form of transport. 2. Designate containers used to transport hazardous sugbstances. 3. Establish filling and emptying procedures from approved containers.
