John O’Shea of Pacific Films produces tonight’s TVI "Scene” documentary about traditional Maori weaving. Tilly Reed talks to Rangimarie Hetet and her daughter, Rangituatahi Tel
Kanawa, about traditional Maori crafts as they work on korowai, piupiu and taaniko. Directed by Barry Barclay, the programme is called "Aku Mahi Whatu 1 Maori.”
