Luxurious nightwear
Bendon have been in the corsetry and lingerie business long enough to anticipate your needs. They know what you want before you do. Their nightwear and dressing-gowns are a good example of this, and DIC/Beaths have an extensive range of Ravissant and Velvessant nightwear. and Shevelva caftans and robes. The new Ravissant lines are what Bendon call their “rich look for Winter ’7B” — minimum - care sleepgowns in non-cling Antron HI. But for all the luxury look of Ravissant. Bendon insist that only the look is extravagant. The garments are machine or handwashable. tumble or drip dry. They have the feel and look of satin, and are opaque with lace trims. These are very feminine sleepgowns in glowing colours — espresso, pink sand, aquacade, fuchsia shock and cotton candy. Styles range from the briefly-bodiced Grecianstyle gowns, to those with bell-shaped sleeves and high stitched necklines. The Ravissant range also
features slim sleepgowns with matching wraps. The wrap has a stand-up lace collar and full-length flared sleeves. with in-seam pocket and waist sash. Bendon describe their Velvessant sleepgowns as “very subtle, very feminine.” Made from antistatic Antron 111 they are full-length with long sleeves. Necklines are curved, scalloped and V-shaped. One of the most attractive of the Velvessant sleepgowns has long flaring sleeves, and a tunnel-tie under the bust. The V-neckline and cuff edges are trimmed with daisy-trellis lace. Like all the Velvessant range it comes in four sizes—petite, small, medium and large. There is a choice of two colours with this gown, pink sand and sea spray. The Shevelva robes by Bendon are warm to the touch and deliciously warm to wear. Made in an exclusive dacron/polyester, the gowns are machinewashable and uncrushable. Their velvet look makes them luxury loungewear.
