About 160 competitors participated in the South Island junior , ski-ing championships at Round | Hill, Tekapo, at the week-end. The Canterbury Ski Associatlon’s scholars, who will spend a week’s training with Mlles Davidson at the Canterbury Winter Sports Club, are: Hamish Mowatt, Robert Wardle, Emma Gilroy, Marion O’Hara, Tim Pennlington, Richard Harrison, Darryl Ransfield, Nicola Smith, Carl Parsons, and Peter Morrison.
