Silver Valley back on list
NZPA Sydney The shares in Silver Valley Minerals N.L. (receiver appointed) have been reinstated on Australian stock exchanges, and the company expects to be out of receivership by November. The chairman of Silver Valley (Mr R. S. Tasker), said that it was expected that a debt of $215,000 to the ANZ Bank would soon be reduced by real estate isales worth $lOO,OOO.
“We have also been promised sufficient funds to start mining steaming coal in the Fassifem seam in the Wallamaine colliery. “Subject to the directors being able to negotiate a sales contract, production at Wallamaine is expected to begin early next year,” he said.
