PA Wellington The tourning Lewis University women’s basketball team lost its first test against a new-look New Zealand team last night at Newtown Stadium, 65-41. However, the young Chicago side upset New Zealand by managing to score heavily against a strong defence — two of these points coming' when the stadium had a com-1 plete 30s blackout as little: Sue Nyi was shooting for (goal — the referee could onlv | sense the ball swishing through the net. Scorers for New Zealand: Joy Rosenbrook 11, Caroline Grey 10, Margaret Johns 10, Jo Johnson 9. For Lewis, Sue Giacone 10, Connie Bruns 9.
