No application for permit
The Canterbury Car Club ’has not asked the Motorsport !Association for permission to | run an international racei meeting at the Ruapuna Park circuit — but it might do so when the track is up to standard, the club’s vicepresident (Mr P. Bradshaw) has said. Commenting on an article on Wigram motor-racing, printed in “The Press” on Tuesday, Mr Bradshaw said that the Canterbury Car Club was upgrading the Ruapuna track, but that international standards would not be reached for at least another season.
