MIXED N.Z. MARKET
Share prices were mixed in quiet trading on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday. C.F.C.A. eased 10c to 185 c on its announced bid for N.Z. Fanners’ Co-operative of Canterbury. The latter, on the other hand, gained 7c to 85c, but still well below the value of the offer. Christchurch Gas eased 2c, Radio Avon 3c, and Canterbury Timber Products 2c. Fountain fell 10c on its recently announced loss.
