PA Timaru Watelse and Red Ro were both a long odds when they combined to win the T.A.B, double at Waimate on Saturday. The combination paid $1734.60 for $l. Watelse had been a notable failure in his three previous starts but produced a much better effort this time to beat Deep Mystery and 1 Perfectly Regal, which dead-; heated for second.
