July 3. 1978, resolved by the way of Special Order to amend the Council Bylaws to take effect i from the 15th day of August; 1978. The object and purport of the amendments are to delete all imperial units from the Council’s Bylaws and replace them with metric units. Such Bylaw may be cited as “The Oxford County Council General Bylaw 1978 Amendment No. 1, Metrication of Imperial Units.” A full copy of the Special Order is deposited at the Council Offices, Oxford, and is available for public inspection during office hours until Monday.
