Loss for N.Z. debaters
PA Wellington The New Zealand debating team narrowly lost a debate against Australia for the Sir Walter Norwood trophy, a team spokesman said yesterday. New Zealand, which this week returned from a twoweek tour of Australia, took the negative of the motion "That We Need More Iconoclasts.” The team previously beat Queensland and New'South Wales in the only other debates of the tour judged by adjudication panels, said the spokesman.
