Students will travel by sea

The first students have been selected for a new farm student exchange scheme between New Zealand and Britain. The scheme is being sponsored by Overseas Containers Ltd. In the photograph the successful New Zealand students, Adrian Carter, on the left, and James Kemp, in the middle, are being congratulated by Mr W. W. Fraser, representing the company. The scheme enables New Zealanders from Flock House Farm Training Institute at Bulls and Telford Farm Training Institute at Balclutha to attend Brooksby and Berkshire Agricultural Colleges for a year where accommodation and tuition will be provided by the col-

leges on an exchange basis with two British students who will be attending the New Zealand institutes. Two British students,

David Whenmouth and Peter March, have also been selected to come to New Zealand. The exchange programme will begin in Sep-

tember. Overseas Containers will be providing free passages for the students travelling in either direction on their container ships.
