West Coast forest news soon
PA Wellington, Decisions on future management of West Coast forests will be announced before the end of this month. The Minister of Forests (Mr V. S. Young) said on Tuesday that within the next few days he would clarify some of the main considerations reflected in decisions on the west Taupo and West Coast forests. He would also refer to future intentions for Whirinaki State forest, he said.
