Fares ' low’
PA Wellington The chairman of Qantas (Sir Lenox Hewitt) said yesterday that he was sure there would be a lowering of air fares out of Australia to Europe. However, he would not be drawn on trans-Tasman fares. He said these were already at a low level. But their future depended on the Australian Government’s decision on the airline review there, and also the future form of the Australia to London air-fare structure.
