Meat talks adjourned

Conciliation talks for a new award for meat workers have been adjourned to July 25, 26. and 27, in Christchurch. The assistant secretary of the Meat Workers' Union (Mr J. Sneddon) said that claims and counterclaims had been submitted, and that the first two days of talks had ended on an even note.
