Count Bay arrives

Count Bay. the first purely trotting-bred sire hnport- , ed to Southland in years, ; has arrived at the Cedar [ Lodge of Bryce Buchanan, ■ West Plains, Invercargill. He 1 is to stand alongside Knowing Bret and the Albatross horse Mister Hillas, which is also due to arrive shortly. Count Bay has been imported by Charlie Hunter and Brian Meale, of the Central Standardbred Agency, who have been most extensive exporters of Southland trotting stock. They said they felt there was a real need for “an out and out” trotting-bred sire in New Zealand.
