Betting off and on course on galloping meetings in the first 10 months of the sen son totalled $202,526.(530 Off-course bets accounted for $138,085.876 50 of that : total. in addition 1.A.8. patrons bet $1,653,854 on feature races in Australia, including $814,932 on the Melboum>Cup and $215,278 on the Caulfield Cup. Off-course special doubles yielded $320,322.50. with the two Auckland Cups bringing in $116,072 and the two New Zealand Cups $114,985. Win and place betting on New Zealand race meetings i for the 10 months ending in May totalled $83,865,237 off : course and $44,030,512 oncourse.
