No tote problems wanted next season
Although the totalisator equipment worked efficiently at Addington Raceway at most meetings this season, there was a major breakdown on New Zealand Cup day last year, and the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club does not want to have a repetition of that. The president of the club, Mr Eugene McDermott, told members at the annual meeting last evening that the breakdown was all the more unfortunate and serious as it occurred in the panel which involved all thej higher-denomination betting and when those patrons who'
