Homosexual "marriages"
Sir. — In reporting socalled homosexual "marriages” you appear to overlook the fact that such activity is illegal, and, even were the law changed to allow such relationships between consenting adults in private — the thin edge of the homosexual law reform supporters’ wedge — it would no longer be private if reported in “The Press.” I believe journalists are doing real harm in reporting “gay pride” activities, thus apparently condoning moral depravity and pornographic displays which are rightly the conern of the police. I wish Mr Muldoon would move as quickly against the double standards he deplores as his Government did against medcially controlled terminations of pregnancies. — Yours, etc., VARIAN J. WILSON lune 30, 1978.
