Govt clinics wanted
PA Wellington Abortion clinics supported by the Government must be established throughout New Zealand, if women are to have access to the best ■health care available, said ‘the national co-ordinator of [the Women’s National Abortion Action Campaign (Ms Kky McVey) in Wellington. “For women to be guaranteed the best health care, they must have access to abortion when they want it.” she said. “This would necessitate i the establishment of abortion I clinics throughout New Zealand and the training of ' specialist staff to perform operations and provide counselling.”
