BATES—To Colette and Noel at Burwood Hospital on June 15, 1978—a boy. Both well. FORD—To Jill and Rodney, on June 14, 1978, at Christchurch Women’s Hospital—a daughter. Both well. HAWTHORNE—To Lois and Fred—a baby girl, at "Bethany.” on June 14. 1978. Both well. Many thanks to doctor and nurses.

HORRELL—On June 15, 1978, to Margaret and Neville—a daughter. Both well. At the Cheviot Medical Centre. Special thanks to doctor, staff, and ambulance staff. Transferred to “St George’s,” Christchurch.

JOHNSTONE—At Tube! on June 10, 1978, to Noellne (nee Slaughter) and Alan—a boy (Kristan Andrew). A wee brother for Mark and Niki. Both well.

LUTTON—On June 14,1978, at St George’s Hospital, to Diane and Bill—a daughter. Both well.

McMILLAN—At St George’s Hospital on June 14, 1978. Anne and Michael are delighted to announce the birth of a son (James Michael) MITCHELL—At Holmdale, Blenheim, on June 13, 1978, to Anne and lan—a daughter. Both well. Thanks to doctors and staff.
