Boys found
PA Wellington Nine boys who escaped from the Social Welfare Department’s Hokio Beach School, near Levin on Tuesday evening, were found cold and shivering on the banks of the Manawatu River by the police yesterday. The school’s principal (Mr K. North) said that the boys, al! aged 13 and 14. had walked towards the Waitarere Beach, crossed a loop of the Manawatu River and camped out over night. y
