Dog ban at beaches
Dog owners cramming the East Coast Bays Council Chamber on Thursday groaned with dismay when a by-law banning dogs from beaches during summer was passed. The by-law on a 10-to-2 majority, bars dogs from the Bay’s beaches from November 1 until March 31, but allows dogs on beaches and beach reserves in the winter, provided they are on leash or properlv secure. — (PA).
