Straven Rd work slow
Weather permitting, the bridge replacement work in Straven Road, which has hindered motorists for several weeks, should be com< pleted soon. The weather had been part of the reason for apparent inactivity at the site, said Waimairi County engineer (Mr A. J. W. Lamb): the contractors have been waiting for poured concrete to cure.
Sealing of the roadway will be completed as soon as possible, again depending on the weather.
