$28M loss in exports
PA Wellington The recent dispute at the Kawerau paper mill lost S2BM in export earnings and the opportunity to generate SIOOM in internal spending, said Miss Marilyn Waring (Nat., Raglan) yesterday. “To generate $lOO of internal spending in New Zealand we need to earn $2B in export earnings," she said in Parliament during the Address-in-Reply debate.
