Br. Pavements raises div.
British Pavements (Canterbury), Ltd, has raised its interim dividend from 2.5 c to 3.5 c a share (3.5 per cent) but with the current work outlook it is not expected that the annual dividend rate will exceed the 7c a share paid last year says the chairman (Mr P. D. During the period a property has been sold and a capital profit is available to shareholders free of tax. Pre-tax profit rose 13.3 per cent to $381,204 and the profit was after providing $13,761 more for tax at $162,764 but $6232 less for minority interests at $7767. The tax-free dividend is payable on May 29. , '
