Edgar honoured
PA Wellington The Wellington opening batsman, Bruce Edgar, has won the New Zealand Cricket Foundation’s “Young Cricketer of the Year” award.
Edgar, who made his first- ; class debut in 1976, is Wel- : lington’s only representative in the New Zealand team, ; which leaves for its tour of Britain on June 8. His prize was a set of cricket gear.
