18,000 on motorway
PA , WellingtonAbout 18,000 Wellingtonians took a Sunday stroll with a difference yesterday. Their walk took them along the new Ikm section of the Wellington urban motorway, from Hawkestone Street to Ghuznee Street, before the city traffic pounds its surface. The once-only opportunity to take the walk along the motorway was organised for charity by the Rotary Club of Wellington South and the Altrusa Club of Wellington.
