Churches to confer
Anglicans and Roman Catholics in Canterbury will discuss aspects of their faith under a joint commission. , The Bishop of Christichurch (the Rt Rev W. A. Pyatt), and the Roman Catholic Bishop (the Most Rev. B. P. Ashby) issued a joint communique .describing the formation of ’the commission.
I It will consist of 10 members of each church, drawn (from clergy and laity in the I two dioceses. According to the communique, the com- ■ mission will discuss guidei lines laid down by the AngliRoman Catholic International Commission on authority. ’ ministry, the Eucharist, and ’mixed marriages. The Canterbury commission's first meeting is planned ! for June.
