PA Wellington The unwanted Wellington representative wing. Bernie Fraser, has been selected for the New Zealand Marist team to play Hawke’s Bay on May 14. The team is: Andy Baker (Waikato), Fraser, Barry Gallagher (Timaru), Alan Grieve (Ashburton], Jock Eddy (Hawke’s Bay), Bernard Stewart (Canterbury), Doug Phillips (Waikato), Peter Hughes (Southland). Paul Tocker (Poverty Bay), Gordon Tietjens (Bay of Plenty). Vance Stewart, Kevin O’Gorman (Canterbury), Joe Borich (Auckland). Michael Donoghue (Waikatoi. Reserves: Gregory Prendergast (Mid-Canterbury), Paul Eathorne (South Canterbury). Sieve Hinds (Wellington). Phil Duncan (Poverty Bay i. Terry Prendegast (Auckland), Jody Walters (Poverty Bay). Mr Neil Thimbleby, the 1970 All Black prop, will coach the side and Mr Eddy Comerford, of Wellington, will be the manager.
