Reserves: Gregory Prendergast (Mid-Canterbury), Paul Eathorne (South Canterbury). Sieve Hinds (Wellington). Phil Duncan (Poverty Bay i. Terry Prendegast (Auckland), Jody Walters (Poverty Bay). Mr Neil Thimbleby, the 1970 All Black prop, will coach the side and Mr Eddy Comerford, of Wellington, will be the manager.
