Full rowing pass only $26
Spectators at the world rowing championships on Lake Karapiro later this year will be considerably less out of pocket than those who attended the 1977 world regatta in Amsterdam.
I A season ticket for the i four days of competition will be only $26 whereas, | according to a recent newsj letter from Auckland, daily entry to the grandstand at Amsterdam cost $6O, The season ticket at the New Zealand regatta will give entry to a car park, bus service from the car park to the lake and back, entry to the regatta and a seat in the grandstand. A season ticket for the bank will cost $l3.
Daily prices for the bank are: November 1, men’s and women’s heats, $4 (including car park and bus service); November 2, repechages, $2 ($4 for grandstand); November 4, men’s semi-finals and women’s finals, $7 ($l3 grandstand); November 5, men’s final and closure. $9 ($l5 stand).
All children will be admit- [ ted for half price and tickets will be available to the public from July 1; until then a priority booking system will operate. The prices all include a $1 surcharge towards the Water j Sports Centre at the lake, [which rowing wishes to use in the future.
