All salaries are paid in Australian currency and are tax free in Nauru. GENERAL: Nauru is a small tropical island just south of the Equator which as a warm sunny climate, offers a variety of sporting and social activities and has a regular air and shipping service. The over-all cost of living is similar to that New Zealand.
