Health report copies due

The Government Bookshop in Christchurch expects 500 more copies of the Johnson Report, “Grow ng. Sharing, Learning,” at the end of this week or early next week. The Johnson Report, submitted to the Minister of Education (Mr Gandar) last August, was produced by a special committee as a blueprint for action in the realm of health and social education. The committee, chaired by Mr J. G. Johnson, was set up by the Labour Government ’ Minister of Education (Mr .Amos) in 1975, “to identify the conditions under which healthy growth and development may be fostered in schools” and to recommend studies and activities that should constitute shcool programmes.
