Hurricane Paree for Australia
Hurricane Paree, a two-year-.old filly by Armbro Hurricane from Scotch Cherie. has been sold by Richter Properties. Otaki, to Mr Noe) Burns, of Tarrawingee, Victoria. The royally-bred filly is to race in Victoria before being put to the stud. Mr Burns has also purchased Spangled Hanover, a four-year-old mare by Armbro Hurricane from Spangled Brigade, for ills stud. She is in foal to Noodlum
and will remain in New Zealand until next season, when she will be served by Lordship before being taken on to Australia. She was sold on behalf of Mr Don Bates, of Christchurch. Icy, a four-year-old mare by I Armbro De! from Bonnie Guest, : has been sold b.v Mr Court Wells, iof Oxford, to Mr John Lohman, iof Calista, Western Australia. Zulita, a 16-year-old mare by Garrison Hanover from Zarina, in foal to Tiger Wave, has beeir secured by Mr Bill Homburg, of Ararat, Victoria, from Mr Rov 1 Manson, of Charteris Bay. ’ I Mr Jack Honan, of Sydnev, has purchased Logan Averil, a

Crofts, of Christchursh. Card Shy, a three-year-old filly by Card Shark from Shyness, in foal to Lopez Hanover, has been bought by Mr Grant Sim, of Invercargill, from Mr Ben Grice, of Christchurch. The four-year-old qualified maiden, Waitaki Gold, by Waitaki Hanover from Gold Sequin, will do his future racing in the interests of Mr Brian Meale, of Auckland. He was sold on behalf of the Yaldhurst trainer, Ron Kerr.
All of the sales were negotiated by Wrightson Bloodstock, Limited. Christchurch.
