Hutt Hospital, a 466 bed general hospital situated 19km from Wellington, has an X-Ray Department with an establishment of nine qualified radiographers. Approximately 4->.OOO examinations are carried out each year. At present the department consists of three *-adio?raphtc rooms, but will be expanding to seven rooms in 1979 when a new Clinical Services Block opens.
