Jones profit falls The unaudited group net profit of David Jones, Ltd, the Australian retailer, fell 2 8,3 per cent to sAust4,oB6.ooo in the six months to January 28, less an extraordinary loss of $13,000 ($381,000 profit previously). The profit was after after providing $360,000 less for tax at S3.BM. An interim dividend of 4c a share (8 per cent) is payable on April 28, ex dividend April 10,
