South Pacific Television | is well ahead with planning i for its new programme j aimed at Maoris and Pacific Islanders. The channel’s head of information programmes (Rod Cornelius) says a great deal of preparatory work has been done together with Maori and
Island leaders. The name of the series is “Pacific Viewpoint.” It will be screened on Sunday afternoons for 15 minutes, and will be scheduled between noon and 2.30 —a period the channel has earmarked for programmes designed . for specific viewer groups.
