Fijians in Barbarians
Two Fijian forwards have been added to the ZingariRichmond invitation rugby team which will play the Sassenachs at Carisbrook next Saturday as part of the Zingari club’s centennial celebrations.
The players are the No. 8. Watile Tuinagiagia, and the flanker, Rupeni Qaraniqio.
It was also announced at the week-end that Duncan Robertson, the former All [ Black first five-eishths and a [stalwart of the Zingari club, [will captain the invitation [side in its three matches. The other two games are against the New Zealand Barbarians at Eden Park. Auckland, on March 27, and against a Petone invitation side at Athletic Park, Wellington, on April 2.
