Power line approved
Wellington reporter Approval has been given for the Christchurch Municipal Electricity Department to install an llkv cable across the Christ-church-Lyttelton motorway from Port Hills Road to Scruttons Road.
This approval is subject to being at no cost to the National Roads Board, all maintenance access ■- the cable to be gained from outside the motorway reserve boundary, and all construction and other details to be agreed to by the District Commissioner of Works before work starts.
