Wool sale average
The average price of greasy wool sold at the Timaru wool sale last month was 185.78 c a kilogram, which was not quite 17 per cent less than at the corresponding sale last season. A total of 4,313.198 kg of (wool in 28,886 bales sold for' 188,012,939. The average price la bale was 5277.40 j At the same time, accord-: ing to figures provided byi the South Canterbury Woolbrokers’ and Stock and Sta-' tion Agents’ Association, the average price for scoured! wool was 252.8 c a kilogram.
