Plea for change
The Thai Prime Minister (General Kriangsak Chamanaud) has made a plea in Bangkok for a “major overhaul” of the existing world economic order. Opening the 34th annual meeting of the United Nations Economic land Social Commmission for Asia and the Pacific, General Kriangsak told delegates from about 50 nations that the existing world economic system had proved inadequate. — Bangkok.
