Rugby club in Parklands?
A meeting is to be held at 7.30 p.m. tonight with the aim of forming a rugby club in the Parklands area. The Canterbury Rugby Union, with the assistance of representatives of the Shirley and, New Brighton clubs, has organised the meeting, which will be held at Park View school in Chadbury Street. All interested parties are invited to attend and the rugby union is hoping to attract prospective players to the meeting.
