MT THOMAS WRITTEN tenders are invited for aerial kill spraying of approximately 275 hectares of Okuku and Mt Thomas Forests. The work is divided into three lots and each lot will be considered as a separate tender: LOT I—Bo ha. LOT 2—137 ha. LOT 3—58 ha. Tenderers are also invited to submit a price per hour for four hours helicopter hire. The work involves spraying scattered gorse patches. All work is considered more suitable to helicopter operations. Operations to commence on March 29. 1978, and be completed by April 30, 1978. Water and chemicals will be provided, but the contractor shall be responsible for mixing and loading. The contract will be on the standard N.Z. Forest Service form FS D 43. which must be signed within 14 days of acceptance of tender and before work commences.
