W7568 WAIREWA COUNTY COUNCIL DOG REGISTRATION FEES AND CHARGES 1978-79 PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that In accordance with the Dogs Registration Act. 1955, and amendments, the following fees and charges have been set for the year commencing on April 1. 1978, and ending on March 31, 1979, for all dogs in the County of Walrewa. For all working dogs. i.e. dogs owned by a shepherd or drover, or farmer, and kept solely for the purpose of herding or driving cattle or sheep, or owned by a pest destruction board or board employee, and kept solely for ( destroying pests as defined ' in the Agricultural Pest Destruction Act, 1967. a fee of 81 per dog. For al] other , dogs a fee of S2 per dog. , For each collar issued a charge of $1 per collar. Such fees shall be payable for all dogs from the age of 3 months or over provided that any dog which attains the age of 3 months after the month of October, 1978, shall be half the prescribed fee. N. 8.: It is an offence to keep a dog of the age of 3 months or over for a period of 14 days or more unless the dog is for the time being registered under the provision of Section 3, the Dogs Registration Act, 1955.
