tions according to the Blue Book. Has there been a change in the zoning to encompass a greater area and, if so, how great?—Yours, etc. ” GRAEME STANLEY. March 1, 1978. [The City Engineer, Mr P. G. Scoular, replies: “The council has no powers to prevent the demolition of houses unless they are included in the Historic Places Register. Such demolitions can take place at any time and in any zone. There has been no change of zoning, but in 1969 a specified departure was granted for the erection of a supermarket in this area. This approval has now lapsed.”]
