ACTIVE N.Z. MARKET FIRMS
Rises outnumbered falls by three to one on a firm, active New Zealand sharemarket yesterday. However, a number of frequently traded issues were prominent in the falls, including Feltex, N.Z. Insurance, and U.E.B. Sanford continued to improve. The N.Z.U.C. index rose 0.99 points to reach 304.64.
