Future of Post Office building

Sir, — The article in “The Press” on Saturday about Post Office towers contains an error. The Lyttelton Borough Council has never decided to demolish the old Lyttelton Post Office. It is a Governmentowned building and, as such, it will be the Government’s decision on whether it is demolished. — Yours, etc.,

R. J. EWEN. Town Clerk, Lyttelton. March 13, 1978.
